The time for our adventure across the US is quickly approaching, but why am I still in my Pjs at 1pm? It is time to get motivated and start the packing process. Don't think that I am a total slacker, I am working on the laundry. The packing list is completed and I have high hopes of getting motivated by this blog. I am having some trouble getting excited about the trip. I don't believe it has become real to me yet. I was a little nervous when we picked up our 2010 white charger!! "BEAST MODE ACTIVATED!!" Very nice car I must say. Shockingly I am very nervous about the trip. I believe this is our first (driving) trip alone. I think I will be fine, until we leave Texas. Probably due to all of the creepy horror movies that are film in the desert. Some examples would be: Dust till Dawn, The Hills Have Eyes, Vacancy, and Wolf Creek. All of the dealing with tourist crossing the desert. Maybe the fear will subside and I can actually enjoy this vacation. I've got my pepper spray ready. Thanks MOM!
