Day Seventeen

Today we woke up to a sunny day in San Fran! Can you believe it! The sun was shining. Since the fog had lifted we went back to the twin peaks to see the view. It was spectacular. You can tell by the pictures. Then we came back to the house and we went out with Kevin for burgers at the In-n-out. Its a very popular burger place only in california. James said we needed to eat there before we left. After that we went to the beach to put our toes in the pacific ocean. It was freezing. No one was in the water except some little kids and surfers with their wet suites.

So, we made it across country, from the east coast to the west coast. We saw some crazy things and had some amazing adventures. The next cross country trip will be the north route. Who knows when we will be able to do that. I am so happy we had the chance to do this trip. Not many people get to do this kind of thing. Thank you for all the support. Thank you to all our family who welcomed us into their homes. And thanks to God for getting us across safely. I hope everyone enjoyed the blog. Sorry for some delays but internet is hard to come by when you are on the road. We will be flying back tonight at 11pm. See you back home! Love to everyone!!!!

Day Sixteen

Today we visited San Francisco. We went over the Golden Gate Bridge. We went to the twin peaks to see the view. You would be surprised that we didn't see much of a view. Apparently during the summer, a fog sets in over the city. We plan on trying tomorrow to see if it will lift. We also went to visit some little towns to soak up the sun. It was really fun. Then we ate a wonderful restaurant by the bay. I had this fish the was battered in egg. Unbelievable. It tasted so good. Best fish ever. After a full day of sight seeing I'm really tire tonight and our last day is tomorrow. I'm a little sad about it being over. But I'm happy to be going home. I miss my house, family and my kids (Jack Jack, Sandy and Little Bit). I am mostly sad about John going back to work. What fun is it being off for the summer when your other half is gone for the day. I am officially wore out though. I need sleep. Goodnight!!

Day Fifteen

Today we toured some of San Francisco. John forgot the camera, ok we forgot the camera so no pictures of the bay. But we didn't miss much. Just a bunch of shops. Tomorrow we will see the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. I will be sure to bring it. We did pick up the camera before dinner and took pictures of our dinner. It was called Beach Chalet.YAY!! I'm caught up. Miss you guys!!

Day Fourteen

Today we drove all the way to San Fransico. If anyone knows how big California is then you can imagine that trip took the whole day. We got there about 9pm. There apparently is a creepy fog that hangs over the city. It is foggy and cold here. Thank god I bought a hoody at Disneyland.

Day Thirteen

Today we went to the San Diego Zoo. It was a very nice park. Very large which means a lot of walking. We got to see the Pandas which is what they are known for. After the zoo we went to see the Pacific Ocean and we ate at Hodad's which Jamie told us would be delicious. She was more than right! Awesome burger. I would have to say it was the best burger I have ever had! I also had the best milkshake ever. Check out the picture of my giant milkshake. Also attached is Uncle Rick's great dane Dulci. She is so cute!

Day Twelve

So on to day twelve. We got up a little earlier this morning to beat the traffic and get to Hollywood. We paid $10 for parking and headed out to see the Chinese Theatre. We ate (believe it or not) chinese food. Then we headed down to where they have the foot prints of the famous stars. We had this one lady from London try to get us to buy a sponsorship for a homeless child. I thought she was just being nice but it turn out she wanted money. Of course. After that we headed down some of the famous streets. We went down hollywood blvd and saw Capital Records who publish artists like Snoop Dogg and the Beatles. Then we went down Sunset Blvd and Santa Monica Blvd. Saw some classic car dealers and a bentley dealer. If anyone knows cars, they know that Bentleys are the top of the line. At least in my book. You don't see them very much and they are all hand made. If you ever walked into a Bentley dealer, you would see no price tags. That's how expensive they are. It was the same when we look at the Prada store, no prices means you can't afford it. HAHA. Towards the end of our cruise we drove through Beverly Hills. Talk about money. John was trying to figure out why there were all these crappy cars parked in front of these crazy expensive houses. I told him it was probably the nanny, the maid and the gardener's cars. I think I was right too because after I said it we saw a hispanic woman walking down the side walk with two white kids with blonde hair. No way they are related. If you check out the pictures, you can see one of our new house and our new Benz parked in the yard.

Check out the 18 wheeler with SPINNERS!!!!

Also included is a picture of a bentley and the True Blood Board.
