Day Nine

Getting to the room about 5am, watching the sun come up, we slept to about 3pm. We went in search for a buffet. If anyone has heard about Vegas, they know about the all you can eat buffets. We found one at Circus Circus. It wasn't very good but what do you expect from a buffet. After that we headed to go see the Hoover Dam. It was huge. You should check out the pictures of it. They don't do it justice. Once it was dark we headed back to Vegas to see the lights. It was pretty neat. We went to downtown to see the TV roof that covers the whole street. We had a shrimp cocktail at Du-par's Deli. Then we parked at the Mirage so we could walk to the strip. On the way a guy driving a SUV next to us opened his door and threw up. If you are drunk enough to throw up then maybe you shouldn't drive. It was pretty gross. Decided not to take a picture of that. Once we got parked we viewed the strip. Really cool hotels. We went to most of them to check out the casinos. They all had different themes. Sahara was desert theme. Luxor is based on Egypt. Excalibur is a medievil theme. New York New York.. well you know what that one would be. And Paris which had a huge Eiffel Tower. It was really neat to experiance all the different sights and sounds. And I know all of you are wondering if we gambled. Yes, but only at the penny slots. Didn't win anything. It was a great time in Vegas.
